COURSE DESCRIPTION:
In this community course, we will cover these topics:
- Deaf Awareness
- Deaf Community and Culture
- Auslan Grammar and Structure
- HOLME and Facial Expressions
- Auslan topics – Auslan Alphabet, Numbers, Introduction, Colours, Clothing, Family, Calendar, Weather, Home, Places, Transport, Weekdays, Food, Drink, City of Australia
- Practice communication in Auslan and many interactive class group activities.
This is suitable for beginner who wish to learn Auslan. At completion of Auslan Level 1, you will receive a Certificate of Participation.
All sessions will be conducted face-to-face.
