Our Auslan Level 1, Auslan Level 2 and Auslan Level 3 community classes are available for everyone who wish to learn Australian Sign Language (Auslan) to communicate with the Deaf and Hard of Hearing community across the Western region of Victoria and in Western Australia.
You will receive a Booklet, Alphabet postcard, other relevant information and materials in class.
You will receive a Certificate of Participation at completion of each Auslan Level 1, Auslan Level 2 and Auslan Level 3 community course.
Locations of our face-to-face Auslan Level 1, Auslan Level 2 and Auslan Level 3 classes:
Victoria: Bacchus Marsh, Ballarat, Gisborne, Horsham, Sunbury and Warrnambool.
Western Australia: Bunbury, Busselton and Margaret River.
We can travel in various locations within Victoria and Western Australia.
Online classes via Zoom are available Australia wide.

- Deaf Awareness
- Deaf Community and Culture
- Auslan Grammar and Structure
- HOLME and Facial Expressions
- Auslan topics – Auslan Alphabet, Numbers, Introduction, Colours, Clothing, Family, Calendar, Environment, Home, Places, Transport, Weekdays, Food, Drink, City of Australia
- Practice communication in Auslan and many interactive class group activities.
This is suitable for beginner who wish to learn Auslan. At completion of Auslan Level 1, you will receive a Certificate of Participation.
In this community course, we will cover these topics:
- Revise Auslan Level 1 topic signs
- Learn new Auslan topic – Opposites, Time, Animals, Fruit, Vegetable, Kitchen, Weekend Plans, Facial Expressions, Everyday words, Finance, Map, Technologies.
- Practice communication in Auslan and many interactive group activities
This is suitable for Intermediate who have completed Auslan Level 1.
At completion of Auslan Level 2, you will receive a Certificate of Participation.
In this community course, we will cover these topics:
- Revise Auslan Level 2 topic signs
- Learn new Auslan topic signs
- Learn how to translate story books from English to Auslan
- Engage in topic conversations and interactive group activities
This is suitable for Intermediate who have completed Auslan Level 1 and Auslan Level 2.
At completion of Auslan Level 3, you will receive a Certificate of Participation.

- NDIS Participants (Self-Managed and Plan-Managed)

- Technology equipments used for Deaf and Hard of Hearing people
- How to book an Auslan Interpreter
- Learn Auslan alphabet, numbers and greeting signs.
In this event, we will cover these topics:
- Learn about Deaf Community and Deaf Culture
- Communicate with Deaf and Hard of Hearing Community
- Learn Auslan alphabet, numbers, greeting and drinks/foods signs.
- Your family and friends will have lots of fun learning new language!!
